Ho sempre avuto un debole per le modelle. Bellissime, inarrivabili, inaccessibili, hanno sempre esercitato nei miei confronti una forte attrazione, le vedo da sempre come creature divine capaci di rendere divino anche un semplice primo piano. Come fa Anna Bu, 22 anni, la nostra fashion muse di marzo. Modella di professione e fashion blogger, mi ha colpito non solo per lo splendido viso, ma per il suo stile molto americano sebbene lei sia ucraina di nascita e tedesca di adozione, con delle note che mi tentano quasi di definirlo “intellettuale”. Anna, infatti, vive il suo stile come una vera e propria forma d’arte e ne parla in maniera approfondita nell’intervista che ha concesso a Naplestreetstyle. Ma lasciamo la parola a lei. 1. Cos’è per te lo stile? Affermare la propria individualità e sentirsi a proprio agio in qualsiasi occasione.
2. Quali sono gli oggetti sempre presenti nella tua borsa e senza i quali non puoi uscire? Il mio cellulare, la carta di credito e la cioccolata. Non porto in borsa il trucco, magari un po’ di phard quando esco, ma normalmente sono troppo pigra per portarlo con me. Poi, se ho una borsa molto grande, porto sempre con me la macchina fotografica.
3. Quali sono i tuoi stilisti preferiti? Gareth Pugh, Alexander Mcqueen e Alexander Wang.
4. Quali sono le tue modelle preferite? Ne ho così tante…probabilmente la mia preferita di tutti i tempi è Sasha Pivovarova. Amo il suo stile e mi piace il fatto che abbia frequentato l’istituto d’arte in Russia.
5. Il tuo outfit perfetto per il giorno Una grande felpa, una grande camicia…qualcosa di over con calze/leggings e stivali.
6. Il tuo outfit perfetto per la notte Dipende…se voglio ballare indosso delle sneakers (colleziono Nike high tops, non smetterei mai di comprarle!). Altre volte voglio un look da party, così indosso un vestitino con tacchi alti. Ma comunque, in generale, per ballare mi sento più comoda con jeans più sneakers/tacchi. Tendenzialmente preferisco indossare i vestitini durante il giorno, non so perché.
7. Quali saranno i trend del 2010? Molta pelle, suede, velluto....ma tutti stanno indossando anche le stampe floreali ed è bellissimo, perché saranno perfette da indossare anche in estate. Un forte trend per l’estate sono i colori pastello…adoro vestire colorato e mi esalta l’idea di vedere i negozi pieni di verde pastello, rosa chiaro e celeste.
8. Chi / cosa ha ispirato / ispira il tuo stile? Io mi vesto come mi sento, dipende molto dal mio umore. Il più delle volte traggo ispirazione dall’arte o da magazines cool. Ma anche le altre bloggers sono una grande ispirazione! :)
9. Se avessi un vestito nero basic, come lo renderesti originale? La prima cosa che farei sarebbe sicuramente aggiungere un cappello! Li adoro, ne ho così tanti! Molte persone mantengono un look semplice con delle calze nere e una collana, io indosserei calze turchesi, magari abbinate alla mia giacca di pelle turchese da motociclista. O lo renderei pop con un rossetto arancione o rosa.
10. Customizzi i tuoi vestiti? Se si, come? Adoro cucire per cui si, li customizzo. Specialmente quando sono vintage, il più delle volte li devo rendere più piccoli. Oppure compro jeans e pantaloni bootcut e ne cambio il taglio. Ora come ora non ho molto tempo per cucire, ma mi piace davvero tanto…è fantastico quando “fai da te” i tuoi vestiti.
11. Cosa c’è nella tua wish list attuale? Pantaloni di felpa verde pastello….li ho visti una volta quando ero a Toronto e rimpiango di non averli comprati. E anche un paio di sandali marroni di Alexander Wang, li ho visti nella sua nuova collezione. Oh oh e…gli occhiali da sole tondi di Minimarket! Troppo cool!
12. Con i tacchi o senza? Sneakers! Ahah. Mi piacciono gli stivali e le sneakers, non mi piacciono troppo le ballerine. Ora come ora direi tacchi perchè trovo molto comode gli stivali stringati e con le zeppe, ci si cammina molto facilmente. 13. Nel tuo armadio c’è qualcosa che ti imbarazza ammettere di aver comprato? No, perché mi piace tutto ciò che c’è dentro. Ogni mese getto via qualcosa così ho la scusa per comprare cose nuove. Probabilmente i miei amici troveranno imbarazzanti dei miei pantaloni troppo brutti, ma io li amo! 14. Come mai hai scelto di avere un tuo fashion blog? Ho iniziato a condividere i miei outfits su Chictopia, poi mi sono appassionata di fotografia e ho sempre voluto un mio blog per postare qualche cosa della mia arte, i miei collages o anche solo delle foto.
1. In your opinion what is style? Looking individual and feeling comfy in what you where. 2. Which are the items that are always in your bag and that you don’t go out without? My phone, credit card + chocolate. I don't put any make-up in my bag - maybe a blush when i go out, but usually i'm too lazy to carry it around with me. If i have a bigger bag i always take my camera. 3. Which are your favorite designers? Gareth Pugh, Alexander Mcqueen, Alexander Wang. 4. Which are your favorite models? I have so many..!but my all time fav is definetly Sasha Pivovarova. I love her style and that the went to art institute in Russia. 5. Your perfect outfit for the morning. A big sweater,a big shirt...something oversized with tights/leggings and boots 6. Your perfect outfit for the night. It depends...if i wanna dance i put on sneakers (i collect nike high tops, can't stop buying them, haha). sometimes i feel like dressing up, then i put on a dress with heels. But for dancing i feel more comfortable in jeans+sneakers/heels. I prefer to wear dresses during the day, don't know why. 7. In your opinion, which is the winter 09/10 trend? I think it was all about leather, suede, velvet...but everyone also started to wear flowerprints, and it's great, because we can still wear them in summer. A big trend for summer are pastel colors...i love wearing colors and i'm excited when all the pastelgreens, light pinks and light blues will hit the stores. 8. Who/ What inspires/inspired your style? I really dress how i feel, it really depends on my mood. Most of the time i get inspired by art or cool magazines. But other bloggers are a great inspiration,too! :) 9. If you had a basic black dress, how would you make it original and stylish? The first thing i would add is def a hat! I love hats, i have so many! Lots of people try to keep it simple with black tights and a necklace, i would wear some turquoise tights, maybe with my turquoise biker leather jacket. Or i would pop it up with some pink or orange lips. :) 10. Do you customize your clothes? If yes, how do you do it? I love sewing, so yes, sometimes i costumize them. Especially when they're vintage, most of the time i have to make them smaller. Or i buy bootcut pants/jeans and change the cut. Right now i don't have that much time for sewing, but i really enjoy to do it...such a great feeling when you "made" your own clothes. 11. Which are the items in your wish list now? Pastel green sweatpants...i saw them once when i was in Toronto and really regret that i didn't buy them. Also some Alexander Wang brown sandals, i love his new collection. Oh oh and: round Minimarket sunglasses! So cool! 12. Heels or flats? Sneakers! haha. I like boots and sneakers, not so into flats. Right now i would say heels because i found so many comfortable wedges and tie-boots, they are so easy to walk in. 13. Is there an item in your wardrobe that you are embarrassed about? No, because i like everything that's in it. Every month i throw stuff out to have the excuse to buy new things. My friends would maybe say i have some super ugly pants that they would be embarraced about, but i really love them! 14. Why did you start writing on your blog? I started sharing my styles on chictopia, then i got into photography and wanted to have my own blog, to post some of my art,my collages or just photography.
